Carlo Enrico Rava was an Italian architect. In October 1926 he founded Group 7, together with Luigi Figini, Gino Pollini, Guido Frette, Sebastiano Larco Silva, Giuseppe Terragni and Ubaldo Castagnoli, a group that promoted the Modern Movement in Italy and initiator of Italian rationalism. In 1929 he left Gruppo 7 together with Larco Silva due to internal discontent, and joined the RAMI (Group of modern Italian architects) in 1931. He was able to make many trips to Tripolitania and became interested in colonial architecture. After the war he collaborated with various publishing houses, focusing his studies on theatrical scenography
