executed for a private residence in Como by Ariberto Colombo in 1953
re-upholstery in ivory and black velvet
Wooden frame, black painted brass legs, foam padding

sold with a certificate from Ico Parisi Archive
this piece is an extremely rare prototype executed by Ariberto Colombo, probably no more than a pair, afterwards produced by F.lli Cassina with number 812 “the egg sofa” paired with the famous armchairs produced by F.lli Cassina with model .n 813 “the egg chair”
