this sculptural table lamp is one of “Masterpieces of Lights” series by Lorenzo Ciompi,2023
the lamp lamp is hand-made in satin brass .
the sculpture is a personal tribute from the designer at the polyhedron represented on the engraving masterpiece of Albrecht Durer “Melencolia I” in 1514 and after resumed in a bronze by Alberto Giacometti in 1934 named “Cube”.
In this original version 13-sided polyhedron the designer used a very rare black marble named “Grand Antique”
